Eight Great Sermons

Hundreds of thousands of sermons are available today on the Internet on a variety of subjects. I highly recommend sermonaudio.com for those seeking audio files. In addition to contempory sermons in mp3, the site also includes some historic audio clips.

Sermon texts are also available online, and these make for worthwhile reading that will encourage the believer. The wonderful web site Christian Classics Ethereal Library (http://www.ccel.org) contains many sermons.

Here are eight of my favorites:

Jonthan Edwards (1703-1758) "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God"
George Whitefield (1714-1770) "The Potter and the Clay"
Charles G. Finney (1792-1875) "Breaking up the Fallow Ground"
Martin Luther (1483-1546) "The Method and Friuts of Justification"
Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899) "Enduement for Service"
Charles H. Spurgeon (1834-1892) "The Approachableness of Jesus"
Billy Sunday (1862-1935) "He that Winneth Souls is Wise"
Reuben Archer Torrey (1965-1928) "How to be Inexpressibly Happy"
